Summary

We had to design a short video game and create it using paper tools. For details about the design, take a glance at the PDF document. Below you can see the level design work I did on this project, as well as the final paper design we presented. 

Level Design

I took on the task of designing the first of three major zones that scale in difficulty for the player. The player in the boat may only navigate on water, thus the islands were created to be quite small so that they do not waste too much potential navigational-space. Many interactions near the player's starting point were designed specifically to introduce the player to the mechanics and threats in a controlled manner.
