Currently working as a Game Designer (primarily gameplay) on a new unannounced title with the team that created Spiritfarer.
Gameloft Montreal - Game Designer
Apr 2019 - August 2022
I was one of the principle Game Designers on Disney Dreamlight Valley. From conception until the Early Access launched, I was in charge of a SCRUM team that oversaw one of the game's main pillars.
- In charge of overseeing the entire production cycle of customization assets (Furniture, Clothing/Apparel, Hairstyles, Motifs, Makeup, etc) using Jira and Confluence tracking and documentation tools
- Designer for the customization actions/mechanics in game. This includes player-avatar customization, house interior customization and expansion structure, village customization, and a special advanced customization tool called the 'Touch of Magic' which allows players to place up to 50 Motifs on certain clothing models.
- Designed UX for the customization features in game, collaborated with UI to achieve user-friendly and intuitive results
- Curated the aesthetic, structure and appearance of all customization-related assets
- Would co-review assets in a Daily Feedback meeting with the Art Director and Lead Environment artist on the project
- Would assist in reviewing audio & music for the game
- Maintained weekly sync-ups with the Concept Artists on the team to structure upcoming content and provide aesthetic direction
- Managed team artists in bi-weekly 1-on-1s to monitor goal/task progression and support personal wellbeing
- Integrate and bugfix customization items in Unity Engine
- Maintained a relationship with Walt Disney representatives to achieve harmony/compromise between team's desires and stakeholder's wishes

I worked for 6 months as the Associate Producer on Gameloft's new car tycoon franchise.
